Singles Roundup

Haven't done this in a while, Here are this weeks single reviews...

N-Dubz - "Wouldn't You" (4.5/5) - Surprisingly more tame than their previous single releases, but a very nice mid-paced song, I especially like how the beat picks up towards the end. What bugs me is, despite this song being very good, there are better songs on their albumUncle B just waiting to become singles ("Don't Get Nine" and "Sex" are prime examples).

Eminem - "We Made You" (4/5) - Eminem's new single finds him returning to his more playful ways --after the more serious "Crack A Bottle"-- picking on the likes of Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, "We Made You" is a faint reminicent of his "Without Me" days, supporting a coltish beat and comedically sung chorus. I'm really looking forward to the release of his forthcoming album Relapse which finds a May 15 release date.

Green Day - "Know Your Enemy" (4/5) - I just watched the premier of Green Day's new single on TMF just minutes ago. Very happy to find "Know Your Enemy" has a very similar sound to the stuff on their monster hit album American Idiot, which sets a very positive tone for their forthcoming album 21st Century Breakdown which drops May 15 --going head to head with Eminem for a #1 debut on the U.S. Billboard 200.
