Billboard Hot 100, 18/04/09

1. Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow

Black Eyed Peas manage to cram in another stay at #1 this week, thanks to some additional heavy download sales last week, surprisingly the song still rests on top of the iTunes top 100 and is currently working its way to the top of the Mediabase chart which measures top 40 airplay in the U.S.

9. Miley Cyrus - The Climb
28. Miley Cyrus - Hoedown Throwdown

Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" rebounds 10-8 this week and is also this weeks sales gainer, thanks to the opening of her new, Hannah Montana movie last week (which raked $34 million at the Box Office). Also enjoying chart success due to movie is "Hoedown Throwdown" featured its accompanying soundtrack, which rises 62-28 this week scoring her 4th top 40 hit.

13. Beyonce - Halo

Whilist before the success of Beyonce's "Halo" was looking bleak; this week it takes a leap up to #13, a top 20 soon I'm sure. It's amazing how much the song has grown on me. "Halo-o-oh!"

Not a very interesting Hot 100 this week. I'm kinda sad "Amy" still resides outside the top 10 despite its rapid rise on the Mediabase chart.
